At CCRM Nordic, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment in all aspects of our operations. Our mission is to support the development and commercialization of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) through highly specialized and cost-effective services. We recognize that both biological sex and gender significantly influence health outcomes, disease manifestations, and responses to treatment. Therefore, we integrate gender equality and non-discrimination principles throughout our infrastructure and decision-making processes.

At CCRM Nordic, we are committed to fostering a workplace that values equality, diversity, and inclusion. Our Practices

  • Gender Equality at the Board Level: Our steering group and board are dedicated to maintaining a minimum 40/60 gender distribution in composition and influence. The board regularly monitors, discusses, and evaluates gender equality metrics. When necessary, dedicated project groups will be formed to address specific gender-related issues requiring focused attention.
  • Zero Tolerance: Discrimination, harassment, and bullying have no place in our workplace. We take all reports seriously and act swiftly to address them. Reporting mechanisms are in place for addressing concerns promptly and confidentially.
  • Accessibility & Accommodation: We offer reasonable accommodations to support employees with disabilities, ensuring they can contribute fully and comfortably.
  • Education & Awareness: Regular training and awareness programs help cultivate understanding, empathy, and inclusive behaviors across our teams.
  • Fair Compensation: Our salary structure is based on job responsibilities, qualifications, and experience—not personal characteristics. We routinely review our compensation practices to ensure fairness and equity.
  • Continuous Monitoring and Accountability: We continuously assess and refine our practices to ensure that equality perspectives are embedded in every decision and action. We encourage open dialogue and collaboration among all stakeholders to uphold these values.

  • Employee Accountability: Every team member is expected to adhere to these principles and report any breaches or concerns through our confidential channels.

Our Commitment

We acknowledge the historical gender biases in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in clinical trials. However, we are proud to note that such biases are not evident in the ATMP sector. We are built on the understanding that gender considerations are essential to achieving better health outcomes and more effective therapies.

Gender equality is a core value in the implementation of our projects. We aim for a balanced representation and influence of all genders, with a target of at least a 40/60 distribution in:

  • Resource allocation
  • Project participation
  • Impact on results and solutions

This commitment applies to all levels of the project, from planning to execution. Gender equality will be a prioritized criterion when selecting new participants and collaborators. All project members and steering group participants share responsibility for ensuring gender equality is actively considered and upheld.
